If during online matches you lose the connection or run out of the time at your disposal, to avoid that you lose altogether the match you will be replaced by a robot (BOT) that will play on your behalf for 5 minutes (except for 4-player tournaments where the BOT plays until the end of the game). In case you had run out of time, a screen will appear asking you if you want to return to the game. In case you lost the connection, when the network problem is over you will play at once in place of the BOT.

If you want it, you can disable the BOT in the account options panel

Click on the Online tab (see the red arrow in the following image)

and click on the button Disable (red arrow in the following image).
